Since opening its doors on August 1, 2000, Preston Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Inc. (PRO PT) has been a cornerstone of quality physical therapy care in Preston County. Founded by the mother-daughter duo Teresa Reynolds, PT, MBA, and Shanda Reynolds McNew, MPT, PRO PT was built on three guiding principles: treat every patient like family, consider the whole person in care, and provide exceptional service at fair and reasonable rates. These values have fostered a culture of personal, hands-on care that has earned PRO PT a reputation for excellence.

Over the years, PRO PT has expanded to meet the growing needs of its community. In 2005, the practice relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in Kingwood, introducing advanced treatment options, including a heated indoor therapy pool and specialized programs for pediatric, geriatric, and sports rehabilitation. In 2014, a second clinic opened in Masontown, followed by a third location in Bruceton Mills in 2020, each staffed by dedicated professionals committed to personalized, goal-oriented care.

Under the leadership of Shanda and her husband Glen, who assumed ownership in 2016, and with Steven Groves, PT, DPT, now serving as managing partner, PRO PT continues to thrive. The team includes four full-time physical therapists, three physical therapy assistants, and a dedicated support staff, all united in their mission to help patients regain their quality of life.
