Gerald earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from West Virginia University in 2012 and later received his Associate’s Degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Pierpont Community and Technical College in 2022. Gerald enjoys focusing on training programs for outdoor adventure athletes with emphasis on injury prevention, strength, and endurance. Gerald is also currently working on shoulder and rotator cuff injury prevention for paddlesport athletes, as well as knee and hip stabilization exercises for snow sports enthusiasts. In his free time, Gerald actively pursues educational opportunities and adventure through recreational sports. His certifications include PSIA Level II alpine skiing instructor with the Northern Rocky Mountain Division, ACA Swift Water Rescue Technician (Level 4), Whitewater Rescue Instructor, Wilderness First Responder, and advanced Kayak and Whitewater Rafting Class 5 certifications across multiple states. Gerald has trained in McKenzie lumbar rehabilitation methods and multiple return to sports rehab activities for shoulder, knee and ankle pathologies. Gerald has been developing his manual techniques for shoulder rehab, hip and lumbar mobility and has helped many patients regain mobility, function and independence.
