Steven earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University in 2012, followed by certifications as a Golf Fitness Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. He worked as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Specialist at Healthworks Rehab & Fitness for three years before earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in 2018. Growing up in Preston County as a multi-sport athlete, Steven’s own personal experiences with physical therapy inspires his passion for helping young athletes recover from injuries in addition to developing personalized injury prevention programs. Steven began his physical therapy career at PRO PT in 2018, and in 2020, led PRO PT’s expansion into Bruceton Mills, where he serves as Clinical Director. Steven’s promotion to managing partner in 2024 marks a full-circle moment in his career, as he first experienced PRO PT’s care as a patient rehabilitating from sports injuries during his time at Preston High School (Class of 2008). Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time with his family, chasing after his three daughters, and playing golf.
