Growing up as the daughter of an athletic trainer and a physical therapist, Shanda Reynolds McNew developed a passion for helping others recover from injury, especially after her own knee injury and extensive rehabilitation. Shanda graduated from Preston High School in 1995 and earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in 2000. That same year, Shanda and her mother, Teresa Reynolds, opened PRO PT, marking the beginning of her 20+ year career in outpatient orthopedic care. She is a certified Wound Care Specialist, Diabetic Wound Care Specialist, and ASTYM provider, with additional training in areas like aquatic therapy, fall prevention, and post-operative care. In 2016, Shanda and her husband, Glen, took over full ownership of PRO PT, expanding it to three locations in Preston County. Outside of work, Shanda is busy cheering on her boys - Brady, Bryson, and her husband, Glen - at baseball games and enjoying life as a proud #boymom.
